Dismissal Policy

(In accordance with school policy and CBSE guidelines)

St. Xavier’s Bahraich upholds high standards of discipline and integrity.
A student may be dismissed or asked to withdraw from the school for any of the following reasons:

Grounds for Expulsion:

  1. Proven misbehaviour with the Principal, Vice Principal, teaching, or administrative staff.
  2. Unauthorized absence from school exceeding the prescribed limit, in violation of the attendance rules as per CBSE guidelines.
  3. Proven involvement in serious indisciplinary actions within the school premises or involving school students.
  4. Continuous non-payment of school fees for two consecutive months, despite reminders and notices.

GROSS MISCONDUCT

A student may also be asked to withdraw immediately if found guilty of any of the following acts of gross misconduct:

  1. Skipping Assembly or regular classes without valid reason (truancy).
  2. Habitual late arrival to school.
  3. Failure to meet minimum attendance requirements.
  4. Apathy towards academics or repeated academic negligence.
  5. Insubordination, disrespect, or use of offensive language toward school authorities.
  6. Cheating or use of unfair means during tests or examinations.
  7. Any behaviour or act that endangers the safety, reputation, or discipline of the school, its students, or staff.

All disciplinary actions will be taken in line with CBSE guidelines on student conduct and rights, and the school reserves the right to involve the School Management Committee where necessary. The decision of the Principal, after due inquiry, shall be final and binding.
